The term 'choking' is just another term for your fear brakes coming on at the wrong moment and taking away your ability to perform. No one can reach peak performance with his or her fear brakes coming on while performing.

Are you willing to get embarrassed or humiliated in this activity?

 

Are you willing to lose/lose badly in this activity?

 

Are you willing to let down a partner or team in this activity?

 

Are you willing to accept a lower level of success in this activity?

 

Are you willing to be vulnerable in this activity?

 

Are you willing to trust in this activity?

 

Are you willing to digress in this activity in order to improve?

 

 

 

If you said no to any of these, then your fear brake is going to come on to stop what you are unwilling to experience.
